Adventure activities & Duke of Edinburgh Courses
It is possible to arrange adventurous activities during your fieldwork programme. You may like to include and adventurous activity in your programme. Choose from rafting in the spectacular Tarn Gorge, mountain biking in the National Park, hiking on Mont Lozère or orienteering around the Centre grounds.
Almost anything is possible in the area, using Cévennes Evasions and other qualified local providers. We are also able to arrange on your behalf:
- Caving
- Canyoning
- Canoeing
- Rock climbing
We also host and assess Duke of Edinburgh groups (over 10 participants accompanied by their teachers only) for their bronze, silver or gold main or practise expeditions.
The Cévennes is a challenging and remote mountainous region, and will more than reward intrepid Duke of Edinburgh candidates. There are a fabulous range of routes to follow within the National Park, and camping provision is excellent within the area.
