Teaching Resources

We are offering a new set of teaching resources aimed to support the study of key geographical themes at GCSE and A level. We are focusing on three key geographical topics for which Morocco provides an excellent country case study: Hot Deserts, Development and Resources. We intend to add to these in the forthcoming months.

What people have said

From the bustling, colourful and aromatic souks of Marrakech to the vast, undulating rocky desert and the majestic snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas, Morocco is a geographer’s paradise.

These contrasting environments offer a huge range of opportunities for field studies and individual investigations. For all that the country has to offer, the lasting and most powerful memory is of its people; proud, welcoming and unfailingly courteous. In a world torn apart by posturing, hatred and mistrust, students can learn so much from the kindness of the Moroccan people; their inclusivity, warmth and hospitality.

For so many reasons, Morocco should be high on the list of field study destinations.”
