Ex London. Arrive Ouarzazate via Casablanca. Night in Hotel.
Travel on to the oasis town of Zagora—based in a pension. Visits to the Koranic library and pottery makers of Tamegroute and the village of Tinfou—being overrun by sand encroachment. For those that choose, we ride out on camels for a night spent out in the Sahara desert.
Please note, camel trekking is subject to a supplement of £ 30 / € 40 per person (2010 prices) and £ 30 / € 39 (2011 prices)
Travel to Kasbah du Toubkal, Arrival in Imlil to stay at the Kasbah or Berber homes. Selected study units or trekking.
Travel to Marrakech for an insight into life in that traditional Arab City with its city walls, medina, kasbah and mellah, plus its unique Square—the Djemaa El Fna—includes a tour of the city by calèche, the traditional horse-drawn taxis. Staying at a city centre hotel.
Tour ends in the morning with transfer to the airport for homeward flight.
