The peace and tranquillity of the Kasbah roof terrace

Kasbah rules

There are a series of rules in place at the Kasbah, designed to ensure a happy and productive working and social environment for all our visitors (both school groups and users of the Kasbah du Toubkal as a mountain retreat). On arrival at the Kasbah, you will be given a tour of the centre and be made familiar with the rules. Briefly though, these are:

SiestaThe Kasbah is a place of peace, a mountain retreat which is sought out by those who seek quiet times. Please do not come thinking it will be great to “Rock the Kasbah”—this is not our philosophy and we ask you to respect the peace of other guests:

  • Do not leave the Kasbah grounds without permission from your teacher—day or night
  • No person of the opposite sex in a single sex dormitory/corridor
  • Smoking is only permitted outside, and cigarettes to be extinguished in sand buckets provided
  • Quiet between 11.30 p.m. and 7.00 a.m.

Thanks for complying with these rules.
